A lot of people tend to want to figure out everything right from the very beginning before even starting whatever it is they’re planning to do. To them, if they can’t see a really good ending from the beginning, then they shouldn’t do it at all.

And don’t get me wrong, sometimes when you look at things their way, you see where they’re coming from and with common sense you understand why they’re saying what they’re saying but sometimes, common sense can be wrong because all common sense can do is predict the future but it can’t really see the future, and we all know that not all predictions comes out correct, if not I would have been a millionaire during my days of sport betting.

A good example of what I’m talking about was something that happened earlier this year. A friend of mine was contemplating getting the form for Higher National Diploma in other to continue studying Mechanical Engineering in a Federal Polytechnic. He had the money to buy the form but didn’t want to because according to him, the form was a little expenses compared to the acceptance fee, school fees and every other fee he would be paying as a student.

Of course his worries were valid and everything he had said to me that day was very reasonable , so reasonable that I had ended the whole conversation. But then something happened about two weeks after the sale of the form ended that made him wish he had listened to me. Two weeks later, a crypto he had invested in sometime last year gave him the shock of his life and before he knew it, he had more than enough money to take care of every one of those fees he had mentioned and more. He felt a bit sad that he had not just gone ahead and bought the form when I told him to because now what that meant was that he would have to wait another year for the sale of the form again. He had been worried about the end and had refused to start first.

The same thing applies to people who want to learn new skills but don’t have the money to buy online courses on udemy and those other sites so they get discouraged and do nothing when they literally could go on YouTube and Google and get some of those information they want to pay for for free. Yes, they might not get all of the very important ones there but then the moment they take that first step, every other step would be a bit easier based on what they already know and by the time they look back, they will be shocked as to how many steps they’ve taken and how far they’ve gone.

Taking the first step is the most difficult, but it's also the trigger to become successful. Such a nice read from you!
