Living the Life

You know I feel like a lot of people talk about how short life is and how we should all make sure to live life to the fullest and then they don't do anything themselves, they don't live life to the fullest. I happen to be among those people and often times I restrict myself from doing some stuff not because there's a good reason of not doing it but because I just don't want to.

I remember how whenever I was broke I would tell everyone how I would buy this kind of food and that kind of food all for myself when I have the money to and then when I get the money, I start having second thoughts. I start thinking of other things I can do with that cash instead of "wasting" it. And then when I lose that money to something extremely foolish, the regrets sets in and I start kicking myself, asking myself why I didn't give myself the treat I've always promised myself.

Well I decided to stop all of that. I've always been a guy who loves to eat and whenever I find myself in a situation where I can afford a better food that is slightly above the price I normally would pay for food, I just go get the food before the thoughts of how I could build a house or get myself a plane with the money stands getting to me.

All I'm saying is that every once in a while, do those things you normally wouldn't do, not things that would put you in trouble, but things that you've always wanted to do for fun but keep on postponing for one reason or another.

Most of you know I happen to be that guy who sometimes enjoys being alone in his own space, well I also happen to be that guy that enjoys parties too when I'm not shy. Well last week a friend invited me to her sister's boyfriend birthday party and I was going to bail on her as usual but then I had a changed of heart and decided to go. It was a night party and arguably one of the best nights I've had over here. I laughed, joked, had massive fun and by the time the whole thing was coming to an end, I secretly wished it wouldn't.

I never knew I would enjoy that party so much to the extent where I'm now looking forward to attending other parties with my friends. That's me living, doing things I normally wouldn't do and I don't regret it one bit.
