I've Got a Phone Problem

If you read my yesterday's blog (you can find it here) then you already know that I got introduced to the mobile phone life in an early age, at least compared to when my friends got theirs. But you see, my relationships with phones wasn't what I had expected.

I wasn't so lucky with them and at one point I had felt like I was cursed never to have a phone or never to use one for too long. Every phone I got always went bad after about a month of me using it and it wasn't entirely my fault. I just wasn't working at the time and didn't have any money to get myself a brand new phone.

So every phone I used up until my 23rd birthday were phones passed down to me by either my parents or siblings or phones I had bought from friends, never a brand new one. And unfortunately, the only reason I got this phones or were able to buy them cheap from friends was because it wasn't working one hundred percent. So I try to manage it and sometimes even try to repair it, but no matter what I do, it always gives up on me.

Some of them don't even give any signs, they just go off and refuse to come back on. Anyways, none of those incidents affected my love for mobile phones, actually if there was one thing it did, it made my love stronger because whenever I didn't have a phone, all I was thinking about was the day I would finally get one.

Anyways, enough of my sad stories with phones, today's post isn't really about it. You see, today's contest from the Hive Learners community is asking what's that one thing that would make us stay away from our phones and to be honest, there really isn't a lot of things.

I think it's safe to say that I'm a phone addict. I really don't talk to a lot of people in real life and the only way I get to keep myself busy is by being on my phone. So the first thing I do in the morning when I wake up is go through my phone and my socials to see if I have any pending messages or jobs to do, and when I'm about to go to bed, the last thing I do is go through my phone.

The only time I'm not with my phone is probably when I'm doing activities that doesn't permit me to be with my phone, things like when I'm bathing or when I'm having a serious conversation with my dad (I tend to drop my phone for my own safety).

Another thing that makes me leave my phone at home is when I'm about to go play football and I do this for two reasons. The first being that I cannot play football comfortably while operating my phone and the second being the high possibility of my phone being stolen at the football field.

So yeah, sports probably is one main thing that would make me stay away from my phone.

I am sorry to hear that your mobiles keep breaking down and you have to spend money again to buy a new mobile, so it is better to use your own mobile and the other company's mobile and see how far it goes.

Hehe. That means nothing can isolate you except sports. Tell something wrong if you are using smartphone to make the best use of time.

Yup, for now sport is the only thing I can think of.
