I hate it when this happens..

It's some few minutes past 11pm and I'm locked up in my room, with no plans to see or talk to anyone now or ever, for as long as possible or until I calm down.

Hi, this is me describing what I'm feeling right now, at this very moment.

Personally, I feel that as a man, you shouldn't switch up on people who've been in your life for a long time just because of someone you just met. But then it maybe might be understandable when you do it for a reason, a life changing reason, but not for something as unsteady as a girl, a girl you just met who literally could leave the next day.

I have this friend of mine who apparently is a simp. I call him that not only from one experience, but multiple ones. This is the kinda guy who literally would push his guys to the corner just to make sure that he satisfies the need of whatever girl he seems to be admiring at the moment.

Like I said, this isn't the first time something of this nature is happening, but it has never really gotten to me because I've never really been the friend he's shoving away for a stranger he just met, until recently.

These past few days, this guy who I'm seriously considering if he's still a friend or not, would cancel plans on me just so that he could be with this girl. And the only time he gets to actually do something that doesn't involve her is when she leaves.

Then he does everything in a hurry, just so that he could be back home in time to wait for her to come back to his place and continue whatever it is they were doing before she left.

Now I have nothing against anyone being in love and acting like it, but when you shut everyone off and act like we don't matter just because of someone you just met, it bothers me and makes me wonder what kind of friend you are, especially if it's a friend that I've gone the extra mile for in the past.

Because it's signs like this that just makes you realize that maybe, when the time comes when you really need him by your side, he might not be there, just because the lady he just met had asked him to help rub her back.

And this isn't me hating, it's just a friend who's hurt by the actions of his other friend. And I've tried talking some sense into him, that was what actually placed me in this sour mood tonight because apparently, his brain is on vacation when it comes to this topic and I'm tired because this is a grown man.

Anyways, I wish him luck and I hope that whatever they've got going, goes well. As for me, I've decided it's best not to make any serious plans with him for time being until he's done simping and hopefully back to his senses.
