Having an ideal sunday

Myself and the boys had made plans to go to church this Sunday, we were initially going to attend a church vigil on friday as it was the last Friday of the month (churches in Nigeria host vigils every last Friday of the month), but a lot of us weren't prepared and we wanted to go as a group, seeing how the service had a probability of ending at midnight and walking home alone would be very risky at that time.

We finally decided to not attend and instead go to the usual Sunday service this Sunday. But after we had agreed on everything, it started raining on Saturday night and it rained all through till Sunday morning.

And if there was one thing I knew for sure, it was that none of us was getting up as early as 6am on a cold Sunday morning like this to prepare for church, so when I looked outside and I didn't see any of the boys, I wasn't surprised. Everyone was still inside of their rooms, laying comfortably under their duvet.

And to make matters worse, the power supply came on and that was when I knew going to church wasn't going to be possible anymore today. I'm not proud of it but that's what happened.

Anyways, I decided to go about my day and after brushing my teeth, it was time for some breakfast. When I stepped out of my room, I discovered it was still really cold outside so I decided to get myself a nice English breakfast, bread, eggs and tea.

I had gotten the whole thing at a store downstairs and ran back upstairs. Aside from church, I had no other plans for the day and seeing how there was power supply, I knew the possibility of me stepping out of my room other than to go get food was really really slim.

Anyways, when I got back upstairs, I made my breakfast, turned on my television and got comfortable. I just recently started seeing the Game of Throne series and I'm almost done with it (probably because I have nothing else to do but force myself to sit through it).

I know I'm a little bit late to the party but sometimes I don't enjoy seeing a movie/series when everyone is talking about it, I like to take my time (probably why I still haven't seen Harry Potter).

Well, the rest of my day was spent with me being indoors, relaxed and enjoying my alone time. And to be honest, aside from not going to church, this to me was an ideal Sunday and I honestly won't mind having lots of it going forward.

Hehe. I can feel your situation and I would probably do similar if I were in your situation. Game of Thrones was an amazing one. I have watched it some years ago.
