Generational Wealth

I remember how I and my friends would ask ourselves some crazy imaginary questions just to start up a conversation, something like "If you were walking on the road and discovered five million dollars abandoned in a bag, what would you do with it?"

We would ask ourselves crazy questions like that and then spend the next ten, twenty minutes just day dreaming about the many cars and houses we would buy with our imaginary money. And this was because none of us grew up in a wealthy home. Luckily for me, my family is an average family, we can afford the things we need, not the things we wanted. But the level I want myself and my kids to be on, is affording whatever it is we want.

And that is why ladies and gentlemen, when the question about what tangible thing I will love to leave for my future generation was asked, the first thing that came to mind was generational wealth. I want to make so much money that even ten, twenty years after I'm gone, my future generation will still be thanking God that I did whatever I did to get rich.

That is the one thing I will love to leave for my future generation. The next thing should have been a good name (well technically this would have been first), because nothing beats having a good name but the question in today's contest said that whatever we're leaving has to be tangible so I will just leave it at generational wealth because what tangible thing can't be bought with money?

Everything materialistic (or almost everything) can be bought with cash so I think leaving a generational wealth for those lucky lads will be the best thing I will be doing for them. I don't want my children or grandchildren asking me what I was doing when my mates were busy hustling and making enough money for themselves.

So there you have it.

Wow... Let me just say you're speaking my mind, my generation must not suffer, like they don't have any reason to know what poverty looks like. Have paid the sacrifice already it just for them to come build on it and then pass to the succeeding generations till the end of time.

Well let's just pray and hope that our sacrifices isn't in vain.
