Falling Sick

One thing I hate more than falling ill is falling ill during my examination period. And this is because I have to force myself to go write the exam regardless (unless maybe I'm hospitalised) because the thought of staying at home to rest when I should be in the exam hall sweating it out all because I'm sick doesn't sound like something I'd want to do.

I remember the last time I had fallen ill while writing my exam, it was during my first year in school (second semester examination), I had fallen ill to malaria and typhoid and if I remember correctly, I felt so weak that for a moment I felt I wouldn't be able to continue the exam.

So I had called a close friend of mine one evening to ask him if he could write my exam for me. Mind you, this friend was also a course mate of mine so I was asking him to somehow find a way to write his exam and mine at the same time.

He had immediately told me that he won't be able to do it because he was scared which I understood, so I had no choice but to force myself to school the next day. I had taken some drugs because leaving for school. I remember that exam being the longest exam I've ever taken in my life, I couldn't even sit straight.

Luckily for me, I had really nice and caring friends and they had made the whole thing really easy for me by allowing me to copy from their work because I wasn't able to read due to the illness. And when I finally got back to full health, I was really grateful to them and prayed never to experience such a thing ever again.

But they say the prayer of a sinner is abomination to God, and maybe that's the reason why the whole thing is about repeating itself all over again. I'm currently writing my exams and I'm starting to feel ill. Luckily for me, this time is a bit different because, I caught on to it early and I'm trying all my possible best to help my white blood cell (or whatever cells that fight sickness) to tackle it by taking some drugs because the last thing that I want is this sickness bringing me down and making me a liability all over again.

I have never experienced a situation like you because most of the time in my life I was fit and ok. But I always try to be extra cautious and careful because I think if I become sick in the exam time all my effort of one year can be meaningless.
I am feeling sad to hear what happening with you. I just hope that you will be fine soon.

Being cautious and careful might include me taking some drugs to maybe help keep my immune system strong, but guess what, I hate taking drugs.

Sorry bro, how are you feeling now? I once experienced that and it was because I over-stressed myself before the exam.

Your friends are really nice to have helped you and I hope you feel better before the next paper. Please be good bro, Cheers and happy weekend.

I really don't think I overstressed myself for this one though.. It's just my village people.

Thanks for the well wishes bro.
