Don't be scared to start over

Most of the time that I've e spoken about sport betting here, it has mostly been me talking about negative part of it (not like there's exactly a positive side to it). We all know gambling isn't a good thing to do or a way to live ones life but let's be honest with ourselves, if things had gone a little bit differently, if the majority of those bets I had placed had gone in my favour all those years ago, I would have a different mindset when it comes to sport betting.

The reality of things is that something is bad when it doesn't go our way but it's the complete opposite when it favors us. But that isn't the purpose of today's blog, I'm not here trying to promote gambling or anything like that.

If you ask me, the best thing any one can do for themselves is to quit gambling and just pick up whatever it is that is left of their lives and try to build from there, which brings us to today's topic.

You see, if there's one good thing I did learn from sport betting, it is that it's never too late for you to start over. Many times I've spoken to people with gambling problems, the one thing they're always scared of is forgetting all of the money lost and starting over. I've come to realize that to these gamblers, life is easier to live when they keep on giving themselves hope because to every gambler, the next bet could be the one bet that could change their life for good.

And so they have that hope and what that hope does is that it helps them to forget about all of the money they had wasted because none of it matters if it all eventually pays off in the end. But asking them to quit is like asking them to give up that hope, the one thing sustaining them and helping them keep that regret of the money lost at bay.

The moment they stop gambling, that's when reality hits them, that's when they realize that there's no miracle money coming from anywhere to help them recoup all of the thousands and millions they had lost, that is when they see the world for what it truly is.

Not many can handle this reality, so most of them end up going back to gambling because it is far more easier to live in our little world of fantasy where hope plays a huge role rather than to face reality and pick up our lives, or what's left of it.

For the few who do survive and not go back to gambling, they're the ones who tell their story and try to stop other people from getting into it because they know that all it takes is one bet, one bet and the course of your life could change forever.

Hope is a good thing but fake hope is not a good. The the hope comes from gambling is the fake hope because even if anyone after winning something huge from gambling lost again by doing gambling. Some rare cases I have seen people stop gambling even after sometime huge. It's an addiction and leaving it is not so easy. So how it can be positive because only for the fake hope his/her entire family suffer huge loss. I think remain tensed, frustrated, worried is much better than the fake hope.

I also agree with you. It's better to face reality than give yourself fake hope. Unfortunately, not all of them think the same way.
