Be a winner

A lot of people don't realize that most times, the best way of conquering your enemies isn't just by vengeance, revenge or whatever it is you guys do, it's by winning in life and just becoming the best at what you do, then you get to watch your enemies want to become your fans. And it doesn't always have to be just your enemies, it can be anyone. Experience has thought me that winning in life can turn anyone to want to be friends with you.

I remember this one time when I was on tiktok and this Nigerian tiktoker who was blowing up at the time was set to release a new music single of his. So he had posted a snippet of the song on tiktok and someone had commented that he knew the guy during their time in high-school. He was trying to associate himself with the guy because he now was famous (to an extent).

I remember reading the comments under his comments and everyone was laughing at him, saying that he wouldn't be commenting this if the singer wasn't getting the fame he was getting at the moment. The whole thing made sense to me and it just showed me that people tend to want to follow success. And most times, they don't even care if you guys were enemies in the past.. Basically what that means is that the best way of winning is actually winning.

Funny enough, what actually prompted today's today was something that happened between I and a friend of mine. You see, earlier today, we had gone to another friend's place to play some football game on his PlayStation.

And due to the fact that it's been a while I last played, this guy had scored two goals within ten minutes and my friend, the guy I had gone there with, was dying with laughter, laughing real hard at me.

The whole thing got me upset and I was going to end the game but decided to continue playing because it was just a game after all. Well, by the time we got to the second half, I was leading by 3:2 and my friend, the same guy that was laughing at me some few minutes ago, suddenly became my biggest fan.

He jumped the highest whenever I missed a clear goal opportunity, and that was when the whole idea of today's post cane to me. I couldn't help but think that this was the same guy that was mocking me some few minutes ago just because I was on the losing side, but now that I'm at the winning side, he suddenly had become my biggest fan.

That whole experience made me realize that no one wants to be friends to a loser but the moment you start winning, everyone will want to be friends with you.

It's the way of life.. So keep on winning.
