Are Men Polygamous In Nature?

So it's Sunday today and I'm in church listening to the man of God preach against adultery and I just couldn't help but to think about my friend who had told me some few weeks back how she feels men are polygamous in nature. At first I didn't believe her but now I think I probably do.

She had told me that unlike our father's and grandfather's days, this modern men are known for their infidelity. I remember how I will be with my friends who are in relationships and how they would jump in at any chance to get other girls to date them even though they're already seeing someone.

I know, I know, you might say I have shitty friends and even though that might be true, I still feel they act like that because that is how the youths of their age act too (I think) and I know you guys might be wondering if I'm one of those guys, well I can't cheat on anyone if I'm not in a relationship can I? Lol.

Well aside from guys being polygamous, I've also come to realized that when it comes to being cheated on, ladies tend to forgive faster and easily if they catch their boyfriend or spouse cheating on them than the other way round and I feel that is what contribute to guys cheating because they probably know that even if they're caught, they would get away from it by apologizing unlike the girls who will get dumped if they're caught in most cases.

I for one know that I would find it really hard to be able to continue loving someone after I've caught them cheating in the past. I could forgive you, but I wouldn't be able to forget about it. And the moment I can't forget about it, whenever I'm not there with you, all I would think about is the possibility of you cheating on me and that is simply because the trust is no longer there.

And trust me, it's better to not be in a relationship than to be in one without trust. And I know you guys might be wondering what message I'm trying to pass with this post, I honestly don't know. I just allowed my thoughts control my fingers as I type away.
