Another Tuesday

Today was one of those days where I had woken up with no plans but ended up having one of the best time ever. I had woken up today with plans to go back to bed and do nothing all day.

My hostel has been empty for days due to the festive period and so there's rarely anyone to talk to except for one or two person's who still haven't travelled and probably never will. Anyway, the whole plan about sleeping myself till I could no longer close my eyes all went to shit when I got a call from the one and only Bruno kema, telling me he was back from his trip to his village.

This was probably the first time in my life that I was getting that excited about my fellow man being at home. I immediately told him that I was coming over to his place and although he didn't say it, I knew he too needed the company because if I had one or two people left at my hostel, he had none..at least I didn't see anyone throughout my stay there today. Everyone had travelled back home, leaving us here feeling like we were banished from our village or something.

Well, we decided to make the best of our time by not getting food from a restaurant but cooking because apparently, Bruno's trip to his village on Christmas day wasn't a futile one. He had found a way to embezzle some foodstuff, foodstuff that we had gladly cooked and devoured, all thanks to another friend who came around because myself and Bruno both suck at the kitchen and we had no plans to use this precious foodstuff for any scientific experiment at the kitchen so we had to call a "professional".

After that, we had seen an horror movie titled Thanksgiving. For some reason that was the only movie he had (or at least that was what he said) and trust me when I say it was some gruesome stuff that I never will be seeing ever again, especially not alone.

Anyways, I had spent some more time there before returning home to my boring old room. Luckily for me, I've made plans with men that I trust to actually go out tomorrow and hopefully if everything goes well, I will telling you guys about it. But one thing is certain, the remaining days of this year is going to be a very long one for me if I don't start executing my plans for this holiday, one of which includes going to the cinema.
