A Quick One
I try not to write about religion because the majority of the time it can be very controversial. But sometimes I just can't help myself, especially when I have questions that need answers.
In the past, I used to go to my dad to ask him these things, but seeing how I haven't been home in a long time and I really don't think these are conversations to be had over a phone call, I will be asking them here instead.
Should we pray at all times, even when we know we're sinners, or should we only pray when we're ready to stop committing sin and be righteous?
You see, I have this neighbor of mine who recently started living with his girlfriend. I know this because it has been days of sleepless nights or loud afternoons over here for me and the other neighbors due to sexual sounds that come out of that room at night.
But that isn't even a problem, as it's not the first time we've heard things like that over here. What confuses me is the fact that ever since she moved into the house with her boyfriend, she has consistently held midnight prayers, binding and casting every demon possible, which baffles me…not because I'm a demon, of course, but because common sense makes us understand that the prayer of a sinner does almost nothing.
But then again, I might be wrong, and this is why I'm bringing it here to you guys. And no, this question isn't directed to just one religion but to all. Is it right to pray and be in the presence of God even when you know you're unclean and also have other plans to commit more sins?
Or is having sex with someone who isn't your husband not that much of a sin for you to worry about it when praying to God?
I don't know about the religion aspect of it but indulging in sexual activities with someone who isn't your can be a sin to some and it might not b to others.
Most relationships find it hard to strive without intimacy and the bad thing here is when you are not certain of a future with this person.
The bible clearly says it is a sin .
But if you are already in it stick to one partner and it shouldn't stop you from praying to God, if you have a personal relationship with God.
I also rarely talk about religion, but since today's topic came up so I am going to share some thoughts.
In my religion, sexual relationships before marriage are illegal, and when my religion says that someone is doing something illegal, we should discourage the person/people who are doing so. We aren't capable enough to control everything, and in such a case, we should try to maintain distance and protect ourselves from their negative influence.
There are cultural differences; otherwise, such a thing would not be possible here, at least openly, that happens there.
