A Few more days

I was reading through Burlarj's post today on how he missed out on the recent hive pump and the whole story just made me remember what happened to me on that same day. I too had missed out on the pump but mine had been HBD and even though I didn't really had much of it, I still felt really bad about it.

What happened was that two days to the day HBD price skyrocketed, I had contemplated converting my HBD to Hive earlier that day before coming to a conclusion later in the evening. My conclusion had been that hive had more potential of going up in price than HBD so I quickly converted all of my HBD to Hive.

Well two days later, on August first, I had woken up very early that morning to check on my phone. I always have this habit of waking up late at night just to check the prices of crypto before going back to sleep. I had developed this habit after I got lucky one night and make a whole lot of money.

Well, when I checked, what I saw had shocked me to the bones. HBD was doing what I had thought hive would do. It had gone so high to the extent where I no longer was feeling sleepy. I got up and started to mentally calculate how much I just lost.

It was obvious there was nothing I could do other than to just stop looking at the price. I tried but it was very difficult to do. I ended up calling some of my friends to tell them about the pump. I had missed it, there was no way on planet earth they were going to miss it too.

But not all of it was bad news for me as hive did go up in price and I did make some profit but not as much as I would have made if I had been a little bit patient and waited a few more days before converting my HBD to Hive.

It was a sad experience but it's something one should learn to cope with especially in the crypto space because I know that there is more of it to come, what should really matter the most is if we made profit at all or not.
