A day to forget

Yesterday was one of those days that I already had a feeling was going to be a lazy day for me because the day before that (being Saturday), I had done something I haven't done since this year, I went to play football. And as usual, I knew the body pains and all of the side effects of me playing football was going to come after a good night rest, so I knew that the whole of yesterday, being Sunday was going to be a lazy day.

I had woken up earlier than usual but remained indoors. I knew everyone would be on their way to church and me sitting outside watching them do that would only increase my guilt of choosing to stay at home and not go to church. So I had remained indoors, not like I could come outside if I wanted to though, because when I woke up that morning, the whole of my body felt like someone who just survived a beating from a mob.

For some reason my left leg refused to work properly, so I ended up crawling around the first few minutes after I woke up. Luckily for me, breakfast wasn't going to be a problem because I had gotten some noodles that I was suppose to eat as dinner on Saturday night but due to how exhausted I was, I ended up sleeping off. So that served as breakfast and I remember I stayed indoors until some time around 12pm.

That was when myself and a friend went to the gas station to get some petrol for my generator. The plan had been to turn it on around that time and just remain indoors but I later had a change of heart and decided to wait until 6pm in the evening to turn it on and my reason for that was because I wanted the petrol in the generator to be able to last the night, that way I don't get to buy another petrol until the next day and still get a good night rest.

But just as I stated in my last post, the universe had a different plan for me yesterday because the moment I turned on the generator, my fan got spoilt and yesterday being Sunday meant there was no repair shops open to help me fix it. Sundays has always been a day for rest and probably the worse day for any of your electronics or gadgets to get faulty, especially if you need to make use of it ASAP, because unless you repair it yourself, you will have to wait until the next day to get it fixed.

I ended up turning off the generator because the main reason why I wanted to make use of it throughout the night was so that I could survive this heat by turning on my fan but seeing how that was no longer an option, I felt there was no point wasting the fuel.

That whole thing ruined my mood last night and I ended up going to bed as early as 8pm but woke up two hours later to get some work done, then I went to bed and that was it. That was my yesterday and it wasn't a fun one.

I think it's indeed a worse day for you. Without fan spending one hour is difficult. I am just thinking how you spend your time. It was bad luck of you. By the way, why your fan stopped working?

It got spoilt probably due to how high the generator current was.

Yes, you are absolutely right, maybe Saturday is a boring day for some people because there are no activities at all, but I avoid that by doing activities that I want such as reading or other things.
