Gym Day 14: I Increased The Weights To Challenge Myself
I had a chance to go to the gym today so I went since my body was itching for some workout π
Today I increased the weight of each of my workout just to see if I can do it and it seem I did.
First one I did was a declined bench press. I added a total of 10lbs from my usual 50lbs today to make it 60lbs. I did 3 sets of 12 reps and got all the way through the end. Although my arms was really tired after that so instead of doing another chest workout I opt for a back workout instead.
This is a new equipment added in the gym and was excited to try it out. T Bar Rows is a good back workout. I used a single 50lbs weight this time to test it out. I did 3 sets of 15 reps each and got through the end thankfully.
To rest my muscles for a while I used the cardio Elliptical Machine and did a 30 minute cardio.
Since I got my arms rested for 30 minutes now its time for another weight lift workout. I did a Flat Press and used a 50lbs weight for each hand instead of my usual 30lbs weight. I did 3 sets of 12 reps each. The last set was hard but I still got through.
The last weight workout for today was a seated cable row for my back again. I used 80lbs weight from my usual 60lbs weight. I was suppose to do 3 sets of 12 reps each but sadly my arms were so tired that I couldn't do it all the way through. I did 10 reps on my 2nd set and 8 reps on my 3rd set so yeah.
And lastly another 30 minute cardio using the excercise bike.
And as you can see my shirt is wet almost all the way through which is great. I had a fun and great workout after 2 days of rest thanks to the rain. I feel so alive again yay π

Hi @pinkhub, I see that you are using Actifit, and you are reporting regular. I want to invite you to join #POLIAC; it is a tournament where 16 participants will compete every day for one month with each other in two duels who report more steps in the daily Actifit report.
From your side, you don't need to do anything special; post your daily Actifit report; if you skip one or two, nothing happens, and you only lose your duel(s). Here, you can see the final report from last season of #POLIAC, which gives you a picture of what is about. Cause still have a couple of free slots for next season, which starts on 15th April; I'd like to invite you. If you agree, please respond "yes", if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me.
I mean, if I join I don't lose anything and I even have a chance to win prizes well I'm In
So yes I would like to join in the fun. I do like a challenge myself π. I just looked at the reports and man those people are monsters but it looks fun. Since I want to lose weight then what better way to do it than to enjoy a healthy walk everyday right? π
I do have a question, do I need to put the #poliac tag on my actifit reports starting april 15 if I get a slot?
It's good that you can see only the positives because there are indeed no flaws in healthy competition.
There is no need to put the #poliac tag. I can filter out reports that interest me.
You are the first on the waiting list. Often, someone gave up at the last minute, so it is possible that you will join on April 15th.
