Hola cinéfilos y amantes de las series de tv, hoy vengo a hablar de una serie que no sería una de mis elecciones favoritas o de las cuales leyera la reseña en condiciones normales y dijera “oh si vamos a verla!”, pero decidí verla porque la protagonista es Park Shin Hye que aparte de ser una de mis actrices koreanas favoritas; recientemente se casó en la vida real con el también actor Choi Tae-Joon al mismísimo estilo de Best Lover, así que dije porque no?, vamos a darle una oportunidad a las series de viajes en el tiempo. Antes de comenzar, debo decir porque no me gustan las series de viajes en el tiempo, y lo hemos visto en innumerables películas y series a lo largo de la historia del cine, lo vimos en bill y ted, volver al futuro y hasta en Avengers end game, y es que siempre quedan cabos sueltos y cosas que no terminan de cerrar, pues el Mito se Sísifo es uno de ellos, pero este se lleva la estatuilla de más cabos sueltos en una serie o película.
Hello moviegoers and lovers of TV series, today I am here to talk about a series that would not be one of my favorite choices or of which I read the review under normal conditions and said "oh yes, we are going to see it!", but I decided to see it because the protagonist is Park Shin Hye who apart from being one of my favorite Korean actresses; She recently got married in real life to fellow actor Choi Tae-Joon in the very style of Best Lover, so I said why not? Let's give time travel series a try. Before starting, I must say because I don't like time travel series, and we have seen it in countless movies and series throughout the history of cinema, we saw it in bill and ted, back to the future and even in Avengers end game, and it is that there are always loose ends and things that do not finish closing, because the Myth of Sisyphus is one of them, but this one takes the statuette of more loose ends in a series or movie.
El mito de Sísifo proviene de la mitología griega, de un hombre que al enfadar a los dioses por su astucia es obligado a empujar un peñasco hasta la cumbre de una montaña para que al llegar cállese al valle nuevamente y repetir el proceso una y otra vez, por lo que en la serie quisieron referirse a lo inevitable que era repetir los mismos errores en el futuro, aun cuando pudieses regresar para tratar de enmendarlos. Por lo que allí va la primera inconsistencia, si ya repitieron varias veces lo mismo y en el exacto orden, porque aún no encuentran a formula correcta para hacer las cosas bien.

So there is the first inconsistency, if they have already repeated the same thing several times and in the exact order, because they still have not found the correct formula to do things well.
Sinopsis
EL mito de sisifo, es una serie Sur Coreana estrenada en 2021, y protagonizada por Park Shin Hye y Cho Seung-woo, y cuenta la historia de Han Tae-Sul un ingeniero talentoso que se ve envuelto en un accidente aéreo en el que gracias a su ingenio logra salvar a la tripulación de una inevitable muerte, esto debido a que un objeto no identificado choca contra el vidrio del avión abriendo un hueco y provocando fallas en los motores.
Synopsis
The Myth of Sisyphus, is a South Korean series released in 2021, and starring Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung-woo, and tells the story of Han Tae-Sul, a talented engineer who is involved in a plane crash in which thanks to to his ingenuity he manages to save the crew from an inevitable death, this due to an unidentified object colliding with the glass of the plane opening a hole and causing engine failure.
Han Tae-Sul por su lado es un hombre atormentado por la muerte de su hermano, ya que antes de morir Han Tae-Sul lo desprecia por sus locas ideas conspirativas en una conferencia en el que iban a comprar su empresa y se convertiría en un hombre exitoso. Después de esto, Han Tae-Sul comenzó a consumir pastillas para calmar la ansiedad que esto le producía.
Han Tae-Sul, on the other hand, is a man tormented by the death of his brother, since before dying Han Tae-Sul despises him for his crazy conspiracy ideas at a conference in which they were going to buy his company and he would become a succesful man. After this, Han Tae-Sul began taking pills to calm the anxiety that this caused him.
Al bajar del avión, comienzan a sucederle cosas extrañas, al investigar más sobre el accidente descubre que fue un cuerpo humano y una maleta que chocaron contra el avión, y al encontrar la maleta eran las pertenencias de su hermano fallecido, algo imposible para que el pudiese comprender en ese momento.
En una conferencia sobre su último invento, una chica misteriosa lo salva de ser asesinado en una conferencia, siendo el francotirador un hombre cuyo rostro parece no estar formado completamente. A partir de ese momento se desata el caos, al ser perseguido por elementos de control de inmigración, que quieren impedir que las personas regresen del futuro en búsqueda de una vida mejor.

At a conference about his latest invention, he is saved from being assassinated at a conference by a mysterious girl, the sniper being a man whose face appears not to be fully formed. From that moment on, chaos breaks out, as he is persecuted by immigration control elements, who want to prevent people from returning from the future in search of a better life.
Opinión
La serie está llena de acción, algo emocionante en ciertos momentos, aunque me recuerda mucho a las películas de rápido y furioso, donde las personas se disparan casi de frente y no resultan heridos, esa falta de realismo le resta un poco de emoción a las escenas, aunque es compensado con la gran actuación de Park Shin Hye. Por otro lado hay muchos huecos en la trama, como el hecho de que porque Gang Seo-Hae regreso justo unos días antes de que se desatara la guerra, porque no regreso con más tiempo en la juventud de Han Tae-Sul antes de que existiera la oficina de inmigración, y si era algo que se había repetido ya muchas veces porque no hubo más anotaciones de lo que no debía hacer Seo-Hae, o porque no regreso más temprano y mato a SIGMA.
Y aquí vengo con un poco de spoiler, así que si no la has visto no leas esta parte, el final es uno de los peores que he visto, Tae-Sul y Seo-Hae hacen un plan para derrotar a Sigma y hasta allí está bien, al final logran derrotarlo al suicidarse Tae-Sul haciendo así que no pudiese terminar el código del cargador, por lo tanto no puede existir SIGMA, si hubiesen terminado la serie allí estaría muy bien, pero tuvieron que agregar la escena de Han Tae-Sul de nuevo en el avión del comienzo de la serie junto a Seo-Hae y los dos sabían quienes exactamente eran, es algo que no termina de encajar y que tiene muchos elementos implícitos que una persona común no entendería, aunado al hecho de que muchas historias no terminan de cerrar, como ¿qué paso con el hermano?. La historia en general es entretenida, pero con un mal final, algo como lo que paso con Games of thrones, un final apresurado con un horrible resultado.
Opinion
The series is full of action, something exciting at certain moments, although it reminds me a lot of fast and furious movies, where people are shot almost from the front and they are not hurt, that lack of realism takes a bit of emotion away from the scenes, though it is offset by Park Shin Hye's great acting. On the other hand, there are many plot holes, such as the fact that because Gang Seo-Hae returned just a few days before the war broke out, because she did not return with more time in Han Tae-Sul's youth before she existed. the immigration office, and if it was something that had been repeated many times already because there were no more notes than Seo-Hae shouldn't do, or because she didn't come back earlier and killed SIGMA.
And here I come with a little spoiler, so if you haven't seen it don't read this part, the ending is one of the worst I've seen, Tae-Sul and Seo-Hae make a plan to defeat Sigma and that's it well, in the end they manage to defeat him by committing suicide Tae-Sul doing so he could not finish the loader code, therefore SIGMA cannot exist, if they had finished the series there it would be very good, but they had to add the scene of Han Tae- Sul back on the plane at the beginning of the series with Seo-Hae and they both knew who exactly they were, it's something that doesn't quite fit and has many implicit elements that an ordinary person would not understand, coupled with the fact that many stories do not finish closing, like what happened to the brother?. The story in general is entertaining, but with a bad ending, something like what happened with Games of thrones, a rushed ending with a horrible result.
Reparto
Por un lado tenemos Park Shin Hye, una gran actriz con grandes aciertos como lo fue herederos, pinoccio y Miracle in Cell No. 7, pero últimamente los proyectos de Netflix no han sido de mis favoritos como Memories of the Alhambra la cual deje de ver en el episodio 3 porque me pareció muy aburrida y lenta, simplemente me limitare a ver sus clásicos hasta que un mejor proyecto salga. Por otro lado, Cho Seung-woo es un actor de peso y experiencia con otra serie que me gustó mucho en netflix Stranger, esta combinación forma un gran equilibrio haciéndole peso a su contraparte, pero a veces las historias no favorecen a los actores que las interpretan, como es el caso de esta serie.

On the one hand we have Park Shin Hye, a great actress with great successes such as Heirs, Pinoccio and Miracle in Cell No. 7, but lately Netflix projects have not been my favorites like Memories of the Alhambra which I stopped watching on episode 3 because I found it too boring and slow, I'll just stick to his classics until a better project comes out. On the other hand, Cho Seung-woo is an actor of weight and experience with another series that I liked a lot on Netflix Stranger, this combination forms a great balance giving weight to his counterpart, but sometimes the stories do not favor the actors who tell them. interpret, as is the case in this series.

Te confieso que yo también soy fan de esta actriz, me encanta desde que la vi en la serie Heartstrings, desde ese momento he visto varias como You're Beautiful y The Heirs y la ultima fue Recuerdos de la Alhambra y te soy sincera, me gusto muchisimo sobre todo por el protagonista que le pusieron de pareja, soy fan de el, me parecio una historia diferente a lo de siempre pero esta serie Yo vi el primer capitulo y no la termine de ver, realmente no se si es buena o no, tengo la duda todavía, solo la empece a ver porque salia ella.
