Witness that pays its voters

Since a few months one of my 30 witness votes went to earn.hive. Not very altruistic, I know, but earn.hive paid and pays me daily an amount of its rewards as a witness. That reward used to be an amount of 0.013 to 0.018 Hive per day. But as of lately, about a week ago, the rewards dropped back to 0.001 Hive per day.

I checked the witness list, and the earn.hive witness seems to be idle, and not working anymore, since 10 days.
But still I receive a daily payout of 0.001 Hive. Not that this is much, but weird for a witness that is no longer active. So, I am really curious about what has happened to this witness, and who or what is behind it.

Nothing to see on its profile

I checked the @earn.hive profile, and this profile is completely blank. Nothing to see or find there. No posts, no comments, no blog, no nothing. So, it remains a secret who or what this witness is or was.

It was a great concept though, that should get some following with other witnesses. Paying out a percentage of the witness rewards to the voters, seems fair enough to me. And an incentive to vote for a witness, apart from what other good they bring to the table. Of course the payout should be according to the voting power you have, that is obvious. But it is a great concept.

So, I really hope earn.hive becomes active again, so I won't remove my vote yet, as I still receive 0.001 Hive daily. There are loads of other witnesses that do a lot less for me and the Hive blockchain.

I hope someone could bring some clarity about this project, maybe it just needs more votes to become active again.
