UCI World Championships are coming to Belgium!

Time Trial just around the corner of my house

That last sentence is a figure of speech. The time trial is held on Sunday 19th of September and finishes in Bruges, 10 kilometres from where I live. Of course I will go and watch this live, as it is a chance of a lifetime.
Now, most riders that will be contenders for the title have to be getting to their best shape now. And one example of this is Wout Van Aert. Today he won his second stage in the Tour of Britain, impressively against current World Champion, Julian Alaphillippe.

I am a true believer that Wout Van Aert can go for the double. Win both the time trial and the road race. Last year he came second in both. But now I am really hoping he can get them both. It would be an extraordinary performance, but with this guy it is quite possible!

I can’t wait until they start in 10 days!

Come on, Wout!

Sincerely,

Good luck to Wout.

I'll cheer for Slovenian guys, of course. Roglič, Pogačar, Mohorič. They can all reach the top.

I definitely expect at least one of the Slovenian riders to contend, but there will others too, like Colbrelli, Alaphillippe, Woods, Vanderpoel, etc…

Yes, it was a relatively long and demanding season. We'll see who will be fresh and strong enough.
