Nowhere there are more jobless families than in Belgium
Sad top spot
Belgium has the highest taxation in the world, and that is sadly not the only top spot we have.
We also have the most long time sick people in the world. Over 500000 people in Belgium have been on on sick leave for over a year in Belgium. Which is percentage wise the highest in the world.
We also have the lowest work grade in Europe. Only about 72 % of the possible work force is effectively at work. Which should be at least 80 %.
This has as a result that nowhere in the world there are more families where nobody has a job, percentage wise of course!
Another sad day to be Belgian!

Those are seriously crazy statistics and possibly why taxes are so high for those working.
That is indeed one of the reasons!
