It's a cruel game

The Olympics, the true battleground for all athletes. Every pro sporter dreams of the Olympic games, and hopes to get on the podium for a gold, silver or bronze medal. But the cruel thing is, there is always someone fourth or fifth too. And Belgium has a lot of those places this olympiad. We have won 6 medals by now, three gold, 1 silver and two bronze. But we have 7 fourth finishes and 5 fifth finishes too. The sad part is, these people don't get the podium, the medal and the attention they probably deserve. That is how cruel the game is at the Olympics. But for a small country like Belgium this is just immense. Per capita we go above China, the USA and Russia.
So by this I want to honour those that don't get the honour they deserve. The ones that drop just next to the podium.
Like our Belgian 3X3 basketball team (4th), the Belgium Tornadoes (4th), Lotte Kopecky (4th), Nina Sterckx (5th) etc...
