This young boy called Conrand Janssens, turned 22 two years old this weekend and his birthday gift from his parents was pretty extraordinary, or even better said, outrageous. The boy received a 245000 EUR Lamborghini from his father for his birthday. That’s just nuts. But not really a surprise for us Belgians.

His father is the “Al Capone” of Belgian traffic. Almost all traffic signs in Belgium are produced by Glenn Janssens, the father of of little Conrad. Nothing wrong there, one would say. But the real story is very different. Janssens gets his contracts by intimidation of his competitors and committing fraud by buying politicians. That’s no rumour, that’s just the truth. But when he goes to court he just buys off the trial, by getting away with a fine. A very smart business plan, but disgusting practices for a civilised country like Belgium.

Young Conrad’s mother and ex-wife of Glenn Janssen has an equally dirty reputation. She is a former miss Belgium, still looks stunning at 53, but is a true femme fatale. She managed to make a big restaurant owner in Antwerp give her 2 million EUR and jewellery and cars, in hope of getting into a relationship with her. Of course, the guys came home empty handed. And lost his court case against her to claim back his money. She just had a more expensive lawyer…
