House of Lords backs social media ban under 16 in UK
Over-regulation
On the same day that German Chancellor Merz spoke about the over-regulation in the European Union blocking economic progress at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the House of Lords voted another stupid rule.

The proposition to ban social media for people under sixteen in the United Kingdom got backed by the majority in the House of Lords. Another stupid piece of legislation that is impossible to impose, but will create another dump load of bureaucracy.
The State or country shouldn’t be messing with people’s freedoms. We all should have the right to choose if we want smoke, drink, use diesel or gasoline or use social media even if we are under sixteen. Let people find out for themselves… That’s part of growing up, and mistakes make us smarter.
Sincerely,

I wonder how they will be able to enforce this law, looks more like a floating thought than an enforceable law.
