It's all about money, and the 'leaders' own interest. Orban built up a small business circle in Hungary with his buddies. Anything what goes to Ukraine is against them, economically.

If Ukraine joins to EU, Hungary will be bankrupt within 5-10 years. So again, just basic common sense, because all what they stole in the last 10-15 years will be lost - except the money what they've already saved in tax-paradise islands.

They say no to illegal migration, because it cost money and do not have any benefits. They are pretty much ok with legal migration. If someone has money, he is welcomed in Hungary, or if that someone willing to do the sh*t labor for low income.

Numbers:

9.5m Hungary population (every year 40-50k less)

255k foreigners (not the 10-15% how in western Europe, and even less than Poland's 5%, but it has reason. In the last 10-15 years they balanced it from the Big-Hungary's territories, Hungarians from Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia. (and most of those people had Hungarian passport, too) That route is very near to its limits. Also significant Ukrainians and Romanians came to work (instead of muslims), that is going down, too.)

And from the 255k foreigners the biggest groups:

Ukrainian 20k
German 25k (mostly retired people, and high paid people work for the brought in german companies)
Chinese 24k

And total Asia 100k. If we count down the Chinese, 75k

That just happened in the last few years. They are mostly Phillipinos and Indonesian, brought directy for tourism, hotel jobs. The major sector what Orban's circles own, next to construction.

So it perfectly shows, he doesn't care the migration, if it is legal and it is for his/theirs interest.

Actually, it's unstoppable, cannot be reversed, as they picked the wrong economic 'plan' 15 years ago. They have started to bring in big foreign companies, giving them free land, no tax, and gov benefits (free money) for their 'investments'.

They bring foreign people for high paid jobs, they push up prices, locals having more struggle with living. (+ nowadays the migration from western EU is going up, too. mostly by retired people, who don't like the mess in the west, and can afford only Hungary. They are pushing up prices, too, especially real estate prices.)

These companies don't pay tax + they take out profit from the country, so the HUF exchange rate is falling like hell, ergo deeply hurts local slaves.

Pretty much nobody pay tax in Hungary except (mostly low income) slaves and local small businesses (and the gov fcking only them, not the big ones and foreigners :) ). But companies like Audi, Mercedes, BMW pays nothing! (Ok, officially they pay some, like 0.5-1% tax, but they immediately get it back as gov benefit.)

With project Ukraine, they would lose all these companies within 5-10 yearss, and they didnt build ecomony, but only stole something for themselves, ergo that would go down too.

So it's pretty much the same like in the western corporate commie places, little differences. They say no to Ukraine, because they would go down very fast. They say no to illegal migration, because they can't profit from that. And they don't give a fck about Hungarians.

Orban's puppet, that Szijjarto guy said couple of yeas ago: 'The government's duty to keep Hungarian salaries as low as possible, because that's the interest of the country and foreign companies.'

Seriously! So without money in the capitalism, don't have to dream about it, that the declining population won't be replaced by migrants.
