EU citizens will pay extra for emitting CO2 as of 2027

Believe it or not, but the already extremely taxed citizens of the European Union will have to pay an extra CO2 tax on the gasoline, diesel and natural gas they are consuming. This extra taxation starts as of 2027!

Countries like France, Belgium, Denmark and Italy already have a +50 % tax rate on income, and now this will be pushed upon the EU citizens.

Back to the dark ages

With this move, the European Union will push itself completely out of the competition with the USA and China. It already is losing GDP per citizen every year. This move will put Europe back to the dark ages.

Let’s hope new leaders with vision stand up, otherwise the European Union is doomed!

I don't know if this "move will put Europe back to the dark ages" but it certainly will slow us down massively. It won't help at all and some people will suffer loses. Not good!

Living in Belgium, as an entrepreneur I’m truly astounded with how things are evolving. Buses are canceled around the rural area, we are going to pay the taxes like you mentioned. And there are going to be tolls for cars.
Entrepreneurs are getting ripped with extra taxes and are leaving the country.
