Off course this equation doesn’t add up, and the laws of economics would make it entirely different! But there’s more to this story…

If you brought that much gold back to Earth, it wouldn’t make everyone a billionaire.
It would make gold worthless.

Flooding the global supply with $700 quintillion of anything collapses its price instantly. You don’t get universal wealth, you get hyperinflation so extreme the entire concept of “gold value” evaporates.

Psyche’s real value isn’t the metal.
It’s the infrastructure you’d have to build to mine it.

Whoever builds orbital industry, autonomous mining, and in-space refining doesn’t get rich because of the gold. They get rich because they unlock an off-world economy.

Space mining isn’t about precious metals. It’s about escaping Earth’s scarcity model entirely.
