Dump with 67 % rise in volume, how and why?
All over the place
The crypto currency markets are in the red all over the place. Most currencies in double digits, some even lost over 20 %.
And Hive is also sharing in the misery, which is kind of normal, and not really a disaster. It is a good opportunity to exchange some Hive Backed Dollar for Hive. These dumps are just part of the crypto currency world. At least, they have been in the past and are still now.
But one thing about Hive stands out…
Look at the volume
That Hive follows the other coins, is quite normal, but one aspect is very peculiar. The volume by which this all is happening. The selling volume rose 67 % compared to yesterday. Which is quite the rise!
One could ask themselves, who is selling at 35 cents, when it was 41 cents yesterday? Are these just bots and algorithms selling? I have no clue, but if I was in charge of one of those bots, I would shut them down now impermenantly. And wait for better prices to sell at…
That’s just me, I am a complete noob at those things, but it just doesn’t seem smart to be selling at 35 cents in this market!
Sincerely,
Pele23
Almost the equal price to Steem...
Why is that so?
LasseCash made a few 20% plus

You buying it back for 20% over market isn't it going up 20%. No one is buying it but you.

As a "crypto expert" maybe you should learn what a testnet is. Maybe at least add testnets to the list of things crypto noobs know but you don't.
@lasseehlers also dumps his own LasseCash often. https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@holovision/lasseehlers-dumping-his-own-lassecash-token
Hmm, point to be noted, those who did not sell at $0.41, why are selling at $0.35? Strange
Its possible those selling are predicting further drops and if that is the case selling would make sense. Personally I just held over these recent spikes and dips as I'm waiting on the bitcoin halving to see what that does to the overall market.
