Crypto is entering sports to the highest level

Payment slips in crypto

Anyone who has been watching football games on television the last year, has noticed that crypto has entered the sports world quite hard. Crypto platforms as sponsors, big advertising on billboards and even price tickers of some of the biggest coins during games. We have seen it all.

But now, something different is happening, the players of the New York Yankees can choose to get paid partly in crypto during their contract. So what? You would say. But it’s quite a big deal, as those players have huge contracts, so the volume this could be creating in crypto could have a huge effect on price. Especially if more and more sports teams would be doing this. This would create an influx of Billions of dollars into crypto every single month.

Crypto is not dead

A substantial bear market creates negative news, with terms like “crypto is dead” being used very intensely. This news is proof that the opposite is true. Crypto is more alive than ever. Lots of initiatives are snowed under the FUD news.
We should be looking and reading through the lines here, and understand that crypto is growing every single day. And mostly in the highest echelons of the economy.
We have to be prepared for a more penetrated market, but also more regulated.

Crypto is alive, just keep on stacking!

Sincerely,

This is great news. It'll be a blast when English premier leagues starts something similar, I'm sure we'll get there with time.

People singing "crypto is dead" or believe it's dead are watching too much News and just getting clickbated into articles that wont add real value to their lives.

Crypto is way more alive than it has ever been in years. The fact that crypto now has the peoples attention is something we are overlooking. The truth is right between our eyes.

I think it's always nice to see people get paid in crypto but I kind of wish it would also apply to the lower wage earners. Then again, they need fiat to buy things in real life and the off-ramps aren't developed enough.
