But how to get followers

YouTube is a goldmine for lots of content producers, and it’s booming even more now that YouTube Shorts are monetised too. But there’s one little issue if you want to earn through YouTube, and it is not the content!

You need to create a following with your channel, of at least 1000 followers before you can earn. And those first thousand can take you a hell of a lot of time. Because without a following you are ranked very low in the YouTube algorithm, so nobody gets to see your content, no matter how good it is!

Now I have created my own YouTube channel and I have 27 followers now and 13 videos. But that gives me very little views. So, now it is sadly time to “spam” my videos around to get views and get ranked up higher in the algorithm, bit by bit!
