Quarter Finals

This is what is at stake in the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Champions League. A historic place in the quarter finals.

But luck has left Club Brugge, in the 3rd minute they already conceded a goal after a lost heading duel.

Brugge fought back and already equalised in the 12th minute after a wonderful attack.

The game kept going up and down but a very unlucky own goal got Club Brugge in trouble and then a penalty killed the game completely.

A very hard task awaits them in Birmingham next week!

Club Brugge had just eliminated Atalanta, and for that reason alone I expected a close match, but beyond the goals or the slight superiority of the English, I think that the Belgians were played against by their defensive errors, which at this stage are usually decisive in the tie.
