40 year old Alex Honnold will climb the Taipei 101 tonight, a 508 meter high skyscraper in Taipei. Nothing extremely special there, but he will do it bare handed without any safety rope whatsoever.

Clear madness, and Netflix wil stream it live worldwide. A freak show live on television, you could call it.

Honnold is not just a climber, he already conquered El Capitan, a 900 meter high rock wall in the USA, barehand without safety! You could say he is a professional at this kind of stunts.

10 second delay

Netflix has one safety net for their stream, they broadcast it with 10 seconds delay. So the director can switch the stream off if he would fall to a certain death. So nobody would see that horror live on stream!

I must say, I am triggered, but I won’t watch, as it will be night here in Belgium when he starts!
