Are we prepared to kill the economy for reducing just a little bit of CO2?

Insane

Despite the fact that I have very little trust in the CO2 narrative, and especially the fact it would be the main driver of climate change. It is still important we keep being critical into the decision making and especially the impact on the economy.

Fact is that the burning of fossil fuels is only accountable for just shy of 4 % of CO2 emissions. The rest is all natural.

So the reduction of CO2 emissions by banning fossil fuels, would only be able to reduce 4 % of CO2 in the air. But for that the be achieved, trillions of dollars would be necessary to be used to do an enormous transition to sustainable resources. And of that most scientists are sure, renewable resources are not enough, and not trustworthy enough to keep the economy going as it is going right now.

Blackouts and return to the Middle Ages

Electricity would be unreliable, there would be black-outs all the time. Transportation, industry, service sector, just about any sector would be catapulted back to the Middle Ages. Comfort as we know it, heating, showers or bathing, food, would all be a thing of the past.

Are we really prepared to sacrifice all of this for just a tiny bit less CO2 in the air? I don’t think so!

The truth is, fossil fuels are irreplaceable at this time. Economically and essentially! That is just a fact!

Sincerely,

Pele23

They should kill us briefly and to the point, then get rid of us.

This kind of story going on now has become a much more complicated story and it wants nothing more than to kill people alive now.
