8 ex members of Belgian parliament paid themselves 6 million extra, illegally!
Pure theft
8 high parliament officials paid themselves over 6 million of extras above their already exuberant wages. That came out today after research from a newspaper. This after a few weeks ago the news came out that two chairmen of the parliament paid themselves extra bonuses above their pension for years for about half a million EUR.
This is pure theft from the Belgian taxpayer.
And the saddest part is that they aren’t even ashamed of it! They were asked about it, and said they deserve it!

The parliament even had to vote for these extras, and they approved them without any form of shame!
Now a court was consulted and they came to the conclusion that the bonuses were illegal.
None of the receivers have reacted yet, but I don’t expect much regret from them.
It shows once again how corrupt this country is and that when Moody’s is about to downgrade the credit status of our country!
Sad how this country is led!

This is small amounts compared to what is actually going on. here we are having R1 billion per month being stolen through corruption just with the electricity supplier. This is $60 million per month on the exchange rates. Roughly we are losing R10 million per day in tender corruption so I expect the Belgian parliament is doing far bigger corrupt deals if they dig deeper.
For sure, but the arrogance of those guys makes me puke!
