360k EUR per year for Syrian refugee with 23 children and 4 wives in Germany

So, the family of this Syrian refugee in Germany consists of 4 wives and 23 children. Even though polygamy isn’t allowed in Europe, the German government allowed family reunion let them all come over to Germany. The man had to choose one wife to live with, but the other wives are considered as girlfriends and are also supported by the welfare system in Germany. Pure insanity!
360000 EUR per year
A government official calculated that the Syrian family receives 360000 EUR per year, for housing and living costs. This has raised a lot of concern and protests in Germany. But the European migration rules state that they have to get these benefits…
This is of course an extreme example but the cost of immigration in the European Union is immense. And most European countries aren’t in good financial positions, to the contrary, the debt is growing out of control and the budgets just can’t take this anymore.
Let’s hope common sense will return in the EU, and the laws of immigration will become stricter in the future!
