Crazy if you ask me, because winning such an amount of money as someone that is just earning a normal average income is life changing, life ruining to be more correct.
History has taught us that becoming a multi millionaire like that is not a gift, but a burden. Most people that have been in such shoes, either lose their relationship, go bankrupt, or even end up in jail. It has all happened, very few people can handle the stress and sometimes fame that comes with such numbers. Very few have been able to live a happy life with it.
151 winners?
Wouldn’t it be better to award 1 million Euros to 151 winners. That is still a number that makes people’s life a lot easier, but is not life changing, or better said, life ruining. People can still keep on living their life as they were living it before, unlike when you win 151 times that amount. Of course, some people will spend it in a matter of months, on drugs and hookers. But most won’t!
Wouldn’t that be a better idea?
