Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)
The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.
Good works come from the heart. We are told to do good works and continue in it.
Preachers should never be an object of worship. The attention should always be towards God and His laws.
God has gift for each and everyone of us and we should value that gift or those gifts.
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
We are not worthy of the gifts from God but He have them to us anyway.
Psalm 68:18 (NIV)
When you ascended on high, you took many captives; you received gifts from people, even from the rebellious— that you, Lord God, might dwell there.
As members of God's body and because it pleased God, the gifts we have received must be used to minister to others. That's the function we have in the body.
Ephesians 4:8 (NIV)
This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.”
We need to go back to the basics and do what God expected of us. We must help each other to lighten what's heavy. How do we help? When we don't abandon the gift that has been given to us because they is the help we can give to the body of Christ.
God called those that are saved into one body.
Matthew 7:15-16 (NIV)
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
We are to observe the fruits of these teachers and their teachings. We need to watch the people that are leading for us to know if they are of God.
Everyone should continue in the calling by which God has called us.
1 Corinthians 7:20 (NIV)
Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.
We are all the beneficiaries of the works of God and works of the gift of God in us that we have put to work. Our duty is to put the gift of God to work.
