Mass Indoctrination: Day 3 - Zoom.

These are the lessons learnt from the teaching of Bro. Eliseo Soriano on the 3rd day of the Mass Indoctrination.

You can watch below the video of the lessons learnt:

John 9:31 (NIV)

We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

God doesn't listen to sinners but hears those who do His will. When the wicked prays, it is an abomination to God but it pleases God when the righteous prays. When you are evil, God doesn't listen to such a prayer. Stop wasting your effort to pray if you are evil because God doesn't listen to the prayers of evil people. If you have evil in your heart, you need to let God help you to change into righteousness.

Matthew 6:8 (NIV)

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

When we pray, our words should be few. We are not to continually make repetitions because God knows what we have need of. He cited the issue with the Catholic that recites the rosary and said it shouldn't be because God doesn't want us to pray repetitively. To also show respect to God, we are to kneel down, assume a horizontal position while facing down when we want to pray.

Imagine being in the presence of a president or a king, we would give honour to such a person. So when we are in the presence of God, we must give honour to God.

Isaiah 65:24 (NIV)

Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

Matthew 26:39 (NIV)

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

God is not deaf for you to keep repeating your prayers. Let your words be few because it is not in the multitude of words that you speak. God knows what you have need of before you ask. "Before we call on Me, I will answer you and while you are yet speaking I will hear you" that's what the Bible says.

There is no need for repetitive prayer and we are not to pray as a way of showing off or to boast as most people love to pray in the street, on the roads, with open doors just to be seen as 'prayerful'. God searches every heart and He knows all the intentions. We shouldn't act like the hypocrites or like the Pharisees who likes to be seen everywhere when they fast or pray. We should be alone with our Father when the opportunity arise and keep our words short and simple.

Thank you for your time.

Hi @olawalium , True, some people simply become notorious for their supposed faith, impart knowledge to others, and do not realize that others may have more knowledge than them, they repeat and repeat the same, they become annoying

Very true. Repetition in prayer is not God's desire for us as believers.
