The earth would be falling away from you in every direction if it was a sphere, yet you have a horizon (horizon means horizontal btw).

so on a ball, everything in the distance should be falling away from you,especially from high altitudes, but it doesnt.

It sure looks that way from the plane. … everything is falling away … like I am looking down at a Sphere. Try it with a basketball ball. 🏀 … it looks the same way. The edges are all curved like on a sphere….. ⚽️ 🏈 🎾 🌎
