The most happiest day of my life, what's yours?

On a certain day in my life something happened that made me very happy. I know you might be wondering when that day was and what happened on that day. Just read on and your curiosity will be satisfied

I had just woken up and was feeling down, little did I know that a good thing was going to happen that day. I said my morning prayers, did my morning routine and brushed my teeth, and went to take my bath. I ate my breakfast and prepared to go to my place of work. I got to my place of work and helped in all the work we had for that day and we finished around 11 am that day.

I was still at work when I received a call from my sister around 2 pm that the scholarship I applied for sent me a mail and that it seems I have been awarded the scholarship by them and I should check my Gmail. I think my mom saw it with her phone because my Gmail account was connected to her phone. When my sister told me I was very happy and proceeded to check my Gmail

I opened my Gmail to find out that I was given a scholarship by a renowned bank in Nigeria for 4 years as I was one of the lucky 87 students selected for it. Even though I applied on the deadline date for the scholarship and I was not so sure I would be given, I still got lucky and was selected.

My joy knew no bounds that day as I was so happy I was selected as a heavy bundle was lifted off my shoulders. It became so real when I attended the virtual award presentation ceremony when it was the scholarship was officially handed over to us and we were addressed by the officials of the bank and a date was fixed when we were going to receive the money. That was one of the happiest days of my life.
