I just finished a 6.482km running that lasted about 0hh:28mm:6ss !

I'm back from my trip to my hometown, and I didn't want to let too many days go by before getting back into my running habits. So, after skipping yesterday, I couldn't skip today again. With the temperature about 3 degrees below freezing, I wasn't exactly sure how to dress. I chose a light baselayer under a running jacket. For the first time this winter, I wore long running tights under my shorts. Shorts might have been okay, but I played it safe. I also tried my new gloves for the first time, and they are really good. Light, yet warm enough. Also very breathable, and sweat wicking. I think that even with several degrees colder (which is what we might get later this week), I would still have felt comfortable with this outfit. I am not sure how some runners can wear many more layers, even at milder temperatures. I tend to heat up quickly, I even got a good sweat in the end today.

As for the run itself, it was fine, but my watch GPS messed up again. Really not sure what's going on, it worked perfectly while I was overseas, but today, the entire first half at least was quite off. Strava managed to somewhat fix the distance, but not the time. Anyways, it's a little over 4 miles in 31 minutes and change. So, not great, but not bad either. I was worried it would be really icy and that's why I stayed only on the local streets. But except for a few icy patches, it was fine. They were easy to spot and avoid, even when it was getting dark at the end.

As I said many times, I like cold weather, so I am hoping to run more often the coming weeks, and hopefully with more variety in the distances. We'll see how it goes.
Till then, keep Exhausting!
