Evening Run

I just finished a 11.853km running that lasted about 0hh:54mm:7ss !

As usual, my plan for the day completely failed. Since I had to unusually get up super early, I thought I would run during the sunny afternoon, and even have time for a dog walk before the sunset. In the end, I barely caught the sunset with the dogs and I went for my run around 9pm again, when the sun was long gone of course. And it's not even because I was busy! Anyways, the one thing I knew when I started: I didn't want to push too much pace-wise. But no idea for the distance or duration, just free running. So I started at a pace that felt comfortable, as though I could sustain it for a while. And indeed, after about 3 miles, I still felt quite good, so I kept following the streets East into the next few blocks, and with the few extra loops in the end, I ended up running over 7 miles. Also at a very decent 7:21 min/mile pace. Considering I slept less than one hour last night, and I hadn't eaten food since my early afternoon breakfast, that ain't too bad at all.

At 37F or 3 degrees Celsius, it was warmer, so I ran just with a light long sleeve t-shirt. It felt cold for a couple minutes, and then I warmed up and did get a good sweat, but at least I didn't get this sauna effect from my waterproof running jacket (supposedly very breathable). I crossed path with a few deer as most night runs, but that was it for wild life.

With 52km, my mileage for this month is starting to look a bit better. But I still need more miles, because like I probably already said, with most likely some travel at the end of the month, I have no idea how much running I will be able to squeeze. Let's see how this week goes first.
Till then, keep Exhausting!
