Back in training... again... - Evening Run

I just finished a 10.24km running that lasted about 0hh:47mm:5ss !

Another 4 days gap between 2 runs, I haven't been so consistent with my running the past couple of weeks. So much procrastination and so little motivation! But I managed to get out for a run today, No target for distance, nor pace. I felt sluggish and I could feel water sloshing in my belly (drinking plenty of water is good habit, but maybe not so much before a workout). But in the end, just over 10km, in about 47 minutes, that ain't too far off my recent runs. If I can get back into the training rhythm, I'm hoping to quickly get back to the recent progress I noticed.

The weather is definitely colder these past few days with 28F or -2 degrees Celsius tonight. But like I keep saying, I prefer it this way. I feel cold for maybe half a mile and quickly warm up. In fact, I ended up completely drenched in sweat after the run today. I really have to keep this running jacket for rainy/snowy day, and use a more breathable one for days when it's dry.

As usual, I stayed on the local streets, and never went too far from the house. Actually, I thought about cutting the run short after about 3 miles, but I'm glad I kept going. I scared off a few deer, but I guess they mostly stayed hidden tonight.

Well, with only 26km so far this month, I'm behind where I wanted to be. So, let's see if I can change that trend soon.
