My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday started surprisingly sunny. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it as I had a few meetings that I couldn't skip. Le Chat on the other hand enjoyed it to the fullest doing the activity she does best: nothing! She barely opened an eye when she finally noticed me.

Kaia was doing pretty much the same thing, but for different reasons. Just extreme boredom in her case.

When we started our long walk in the afternoon, the sun was unfortunately completely gone, and we were back to the gloom.

Running in the small forest behind the front yard, Kaia was definitely more into her element.

And even more so when we arrived in the bigger forest.

Since we go there pretty much every day, it's becoming challenging to stay original with my photos, especially my cover pics. So I was looking for some interesting trees and scenery.

In itself, it's not easy but when Kaia tries to help, it becomes nearly impossible!

A few minutes later, I noticed movement up ahead. I just had time to leash Kaia before she could start the chase.

Here they were, 4 or 5 deer having a stroll between the forest and the adjoining backyards.

Of course, I also forced Kaia to pose for a few photos. But the deer were still around. So first, there was a lot of complaining: "But come on, they're right there..."

Followed by a lot of head turned photos "Really, I can get them!"

Since the end of this @poliac season promises lots of suspense, I thought I'd pay more attention to who my opponents are. So I knew I needed a lot more steps for my match against @benbow2017. Even if I don't win, at least I don't want to make it too easy for him! So we went on yet another long detour in the extended neighborhood. I could even catch a few Cubiverse vaults at the same time.

It was supposed to start raining later in the evening, but the forecast was a bit late I guess, and it started while we were still quite a way from home. So the end of the walk was probably our fastest in a long time! It wasn't too bad though, the heavy rain started much later.
I need to check if the final step count was sufficient to win this match, but for sure, it was to pass the bar in @poprzeczka. Yay!!
