My Actifit Report Card: March 14 2024
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a very rainy day, and the forecast seemed to indicate it would last all day and even night. Well, they were wrong, because in the afternoon, it stopped and really cleared up. So of course, we immediately started our long walk of the day.
Much more blue in the sky than we hoped for.
What is that, could that be the sun?...
It seems the neighborhood deer had the same idea, they were all over the place. They were at least 8 in the first group we saw.
Unfortunately clouds won their battle with the sun when we got to some of our favorite viewpoints. But at least, it stayed dry.
As you might have guessed, we went to the forest next, after a quick stop to check on our tree friend. I wonder if it will finally lose its leaves before spring comes.
In the neighborhood, there was some sort of mist coming up from the streets, I couldn't capture it in photo. But it was much more visible in the forest, kind of eerie when combined with dusk arriving.
As usual, Kaia didn't care about that and just went chasing all the critters she could find.
After it got darker, that mist was even more eerie in the beam of a light.
Because I thought it would be much rainier, I made sure to stay very active indoor during the day. So with that surprise long walk, the final step count is better than expected. Let's see if that's enough to stay undefeated in #Poliac new season.
