My Actifit Report Card: January 2 2024
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was just rainy all day. So we chose a time in the morning when the rain was light, for a walk with Sam.
He seemed slower than usual, he's not a big fan of rain.
But we kept walking and it seems he started to warm up and got some energy back.
We kept it short because we were hoping it'd get better in the afternoon. But it got worse! So we ended up going for a second walk only much later, just before dusk.
Somebody must have been listening to our conversations, because all the obstacles on the forest trail that I mentioned a couple days ago were gone.
They only left the big one alone. This one's been there for years anyways, and it's not really in the way.
Of course, we just wanted to go to the open fields one more time.
Quite different when the sun isn't out.
I tried to snap pictures of Sam, but in low light, he was just a blurry blob again. So I put him in a sit/stay position. I just taught him 'stay', so it was a good test. He actually held it well, but he clearly looked as though he was wondering what the hell was happening! 'What is this nonsense, why can't I run like crazy?...'
Don't worry, he did get plenty of exercise and finished the day very tired again!
A second day with a lower step count, let's hope tomorrow weather is better, so we can get longer walks.

Yeah, it's all relative, we've been walking a lot these days. But the past couple of days before today were a bit slower.
We do try to stay outdoors in nature as much as possible, unless it rains too much.

I didn't even think about that! I was so surprised to reach the bar on the 30th, I forgot about it afterwards, because I knew there was no chance for me to go any further...
