My Actifit Report Card: December 13 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was quite sunny. That motivated even Le Chat to be active in the yard.
But it was also a pretty busy day, so we only had the time for a quick walk in the small forest behind the yard.
We didn't have a lot of time but enough to go deeper in the forest, so Kaia could explore as much as she wanted.
Apparently that was very tiring!
One of the reasons we didn't have a whole lot of time is that we had an appointment at the vet hospital for both Kaia and Le Chat. When Le Chat saw the pet carrier out, she first pretended to sleep.
Then she ran and it took me 10 minutes to finally catch her under the furniture! And 10 more minutes to force her into the carrier! But she finally gave up and although late, we made it to our appointment. Kaia was terrified and Le Chat was just pissed off. The good news is they're both healthy, and now fully vaccinated.
At the end of the day, long after nightfall, we finally had time for a long walk to the forest.
I tried one of the running lights I bought some time ago. Very bright, and interesting as a photo light source.
When I switched it off, I couldn't see anything and it took a while for my eyes to adapt to the darkness. Luckily, I could rely on Kaia's guidance and just followed her. I guess she uses other senses, especially smell. She also remembered to stop by our tree friend.
And that was it. A sunny and busy day, with a reasonable amount of steps, it's all good!
