My Actifit Report Card: November 30 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday I had an early appointment for my annual physical, so for once I was already out and about when the sun wasn't high in the sky yet. Beautiful sky, the sun on one side, and the Moon on the other.

Although beautiful, the problem was it was also very warm. So when we had our first break in the yard with Kaia, we were very disappointed to see all the snow was gone, except some tiny patches.

That didn't stop us to go for a long walk a couple hours later. First stop behind the front yard, so Kaia could explore a bit.

But the main objective was the sunset. So we headed to the golf course next.

Not bad either at the North end.

Since I needed a lot of steps, we continued in the forest direction. We met this family of deer having a feast with old pumpkins.

There were plenty more deer in the forest, and Kaia was determined to chase them all!

Bur first we made a stop to check on our tree friend. Still has all its leaves!

Then we followed different trails than usual.

When we arrived at the playground, I found it very strange that the snow didn't melt there. Not sure the reason, just weird.

And we finished our long walk with a few more detours in the neighborhood. The night sky was as beautiful as the morning sky.

Even though the vet said unlimited walks were okay for Kaia, sometimes I wonder if it's not too much, too soon. Kaia was very tired, but not limping, so it should be fine and she can rest the next few rainy days.

And that was it, a great day with plenty of walking. Too bad it was warm, a few degrees less would have made it perfect.
