My Actifit Report Card: October 28 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday's activities started early during the night, well maybe very late at night is more accurate, with a moonlit walk.

I'm still impressed how well my phone can capture pics of the Moon.

A few short hours later, the real activities started, with as often a first walk with Kaia around the yard. It was partly sunny but finally much cooler temperatures.

As you can see, so much leaves on the lawn and everywhere, but once again I didn't feel like cleaning it up, and preferred enjoying the remaining fall colors.

I just love the contrast with the blue sky.

It's changing very quickly. Some of these trees were all green just a couple days ago!

There's a surprise on the next photo, can you see Le Chat lost in the middle of this ocean of leaves?

As it's become usual, we then went to the small forest behind the front yard. It's also changing even faster there.

Kaia was disappointed but it was supposed to stay a rather short walk. Plus, even though I think she's ready to walk our usual forest trails, this particular forest has no trail. Still a few weeks before we can go in.

The rest of the day was a bit lazy, until just before dusk, when we went for our last walk of the day. Like I said, Kaia's ready for our usual forest, so it was our destination. Nice colors on the way.

But of course, even better once we arrived in the forest.

Even though it was getting dark, we went a little deeper inside this time.

When it was time to turn around and walk back, I forced Kaia to take a break. Like I mentioned a few times, we're already pushing the limits of her post-surgery instructions, so a short break was a good idea, and it's good for photos too.

And that was it. Pretty much none of the house and yard work I had planned got done, but it was a nice day nonetheless. I just love this season. Except for snow of course, nothing beats it! Which probably explains the numerous photos, even more than usual. Sorry but not sorry!
