My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was quite sunny again, so you guessed it, we tried to spend lots of time outdoor, especially in the yard. It was a bit warmer than I like, especially so late in October, but I can't get enough of these fall colors!

Not sure Kaia and Le Chat can appreciate these beautiful colors, but they enjoy being together in the yard.

It happens sometimes, Le Chat was not very cooperative for photos, always turning her back to us.

She even left, and Kaia was very disappointed about it!

So we found more colors to console her.

And like I mentioned, it's also getting really nice behind the front yard.

Le Chat came back, pretending nothing happened.

Much later in the afternoon, I thought I'd try to catch the sunset. It was too late for my usual viewpoint at the golf course, but I still had a chance in the small forest. I rushed there, without Kaia unfortunately, as she's not ready for off-trail walking yet. Plenty of yellow and a bit of orange in the forest.

But no good view on the sunset.

So I tried to go behind the wall, as I showed a few weeks ago. Nice foliage on that side of the wall as well.

I tried all the settings on my phone to catch pictures of the Moon, but with daylight, and other objects, especially in the foreground, it's quite challenging. I couldn't find a way to switch off all image post-processing, so it's the best I could do.

And I was too late for the sunset again! Residual colors were great though.

I came back home after nightfall, and we went for another short walk with Kaia. It was an opportunity to try again some Moon photography and that was much better!

Even with leaves in the foreground.

In spite of the unusual heat, it was another great autumn day and we enjoyed the outdoors. Hopefully we can get more sunny days like that before the leaves are all gone.
