My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Nothing really special for Friday the 13th, except all the wildlife visiting us. It started with the deer. This one was on our side of the fence. Lucky I checked before getting Kaia out.
Its friends or family were waiting for it on the other side of the fence.
Then it was the squirrels, looking for acorns everywhere.
Le Chat wasn't impressed but kept an eye on all that activity.
While waiting for the deer to leave the yard, I started checking out the current foliage. No big changes.
And it was time to finally get Kaia outside. She knew something had happened.
Seeing Kaia woke up Le Chat
She keeps trying to bump her head!
Like I mentioned a couple days ago, with Kaia getting stronger, we started very short walks. We first went to the forest entrance just past the front yard.
Then we moved to the street where the terrain is more even and easy to walk for Kaia.
It's also becoming a habit, Le Chat meeting us just before we get home.
And again, after dropping them at home, I went for a quick loop in the forest.
And that was it, a nice day to finish the workweek. Onto the week end now!

Lovely! I don't think I have ever asked, how young is LeChat? Her moments with Kaia are priceless. They seem to care for each other as siblings, which is really adorable. Thanks! Le Chat is not a young lady anymore !lolz I found her a little more than 10 years ago, and she looked just a few days old. So, she's about 10 now. I think you're absolutely right, they feel like they belong to the same pack. With Genepi, I could understand, because he was barely a year old when I found Le Chat and they kinda grew up together. But with Kaia, not sure. When she arrived in our house about 3 years ago, she immediately understood Le Chat was family. It took a bit longer for the Le Chat to do the same, but she never seemed afraid of Kaia at least. Like I said in the past, she's a mighty warrior, not afraid to stand her ground!
