My Actifit Report Card: October 2 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday the new week started with a strange weather, for October I mean. The sun was great, but I'm really not happy with the summer heat coming back. Anyways, we went into the yard with Kaia before it got really hot. We even had some morning dew left on the grass and leaves. On this side of the yard, fall colors are starting to really come in nicely.

Kaia was surprised to be out relatively early in the morning. But that didn't stop her from looking for critters.

It was pretty easy to find this one, because it was literally yelling at us!

Seeing all the fun we seemed to have, Le Chat wanted to join in of course.

I also went into the front yard, where the view on the morning sun is much better. Still mostly green on this side.

Back in the backyard, I took the time for a few photos with Kaia. Like I mentioned already, she's just happy to be outside.

A few minutes after we got back in the house, I checked the yard, and Le Chat was still in the middle, like "What happened, where's everybody?". She always finds ways to make me laugh!

Much later in the day, after I admit a few naps in the afternoon, I went for my daily round in the neighborhood to check how the colors are spreading.

There's a few nice one finally coming in.

I also checked on the nearby forest, it's different there, mostly green with just a few touches of yellow. It will turn later I guess. It was also a bit late for the sunset unfortunately.

And that was it for the day's activities. Nothing really out of the ordinary but we did enjoy the sun as much as we could.

Thanks! She's a funny one indeed! Kaia seems to recover normally. Yep, these colors are beautiful, I always try to follow their evolution, only this year, its much more local than usual.

Thanks! The current colors will be gone before the front yard trees starts to really turn it seems. No idea why that is. Yeah, Kaia seems pretty good, she's a tough dog!
